“My favorite words to hear from a client are ‘Thank You’. It means a lot to me knowing that my clients appreciate my legal knowledge, support and dedication to their concerns.”
Omni practices in several areas including estate planning, probate, trust administration, elder law, family law, business law, contracts and agricultural law.
Omni prides herself in making sure that her estate planning clients are well represented utilizing various legal methods including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care directives, transfer of death deeds, supplemental needs trusts and special needs trusts.
Omni was awarded one of only three Minnesota Justice Foundation scholarships in her third year at Hamline University School of Law. She spent the year interning at Southern Minnesota Regional Legal services helping the underprivileged seek justice – including divorce, orders for protection, child custody, and evictions – as well as shaping her negotiation and courtroom skills.
Omni has worked with many small businesses to help them develop their identity. This includes helping them draft all necessary paperwork and register the business, whether it be a sole proprietorship, partnership, or limited liability company (LLC), with the Minnesota Secretary of State. Once the business entity is property created, she then assists them in creating contracts for the ongoing duration of their business including employment contracts, purchase and sale contracts and personal service contracts.
Omni understands that to a farmer, land is more than dirt. Land is a home, a lifestyle and a living. Whether your land has been in your family for generations or you have recently acquired it, Omni will work with you to ensure that if something were to happen to you, the land will transfer according to your wishes.
“My goal is to make my all my clients feel comfortable when working with me,” says Omni. “Whether I’m meeting with a family to create an estate plan or drafting articles of incorporation for a small business owner, I make myself available to my clients at times and places that are convenient to them.”
Omni graduated in 2005 from Hamline University School of Law where she was a First year Merit Scholar. Omni earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Human Resources from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2002.
